This policy explains what data Marwa Turizm collects through the Marwa Hajj Operations app and its administration panel, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
The app is an operational tool used by the company and its agents to manage seasonal Hajj workers and their visa processing. It is not a consumer product and is not used for marketing.
What we collect
Only what the seasonal workforce and visa process requires:
- Worker passport data: the name as printed in the passport, passport number, nationality, date of birth, sex, and issue and expiry dates.
- Workers’ biometric photographs, used on the site rosters submitted to the authorities.
- The registering agent’s name, email address, telephone number and city.
- Device push tokens, so the app can send notifications.
- An activity log of who entered what and when, for audit purposes.
Why we collect it
To manage the seasonal Hajj workforce: registering workers, following visa processing with the embassy, producing the site rosters required by the authorities, and recording attendance and equipment custody.
We do not sell this data and do not share it with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
Who we share it with
Only as the official process requires: the government bodies and embassies responsible for visas and seasonal work permits.
Data may be processed by the infrastructure providers hosting the system, under an obligation of confidentiality.
Deleting an agent account, and what remains
An agent may delete his account at any time, from the app or from his account page in the panel. On deletion his sessions are revoked, his push tokens are removed, and his personal details are anonymised.
The worker and passport records he entered remain with the company and are not deleted with him. Those records are part of the season’s official paperwork and have been submitted to the authorities; they cannot be removed by one person’s decision. Responsibility for them passes to the company office.
Retention
Season data is kept for as long as legal and accounting requirements demand, then destroyed or anonymised.
Security
Access is restricted by role: an agent sees only the workers registered in his name and cannot reach anyone else’s. Connections are encrypted, and photographs and passport data are held in storage that is not publicly reachable.
Your rights
You may ask to see your data, to have it corrected, or to object to its processing. Write to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
